Gerrie Lewis is an award-winning children’s author, artist, and creator. You can often find her on a pickleball court in La Quinta California. She is also known for being eco-chic and passionate about the Earth. In 1998 Lewis created a recycled plush toy and character named Popsi. Her first book “Secrets of the Dump” was instrumental in an educational cross-curriculum along with the recycled toy. The educational program was taught in schools and universities across the United States. Popsi’s success inspired Lewis to write her award-winning book titled “Popsi, The Daughter of Mother Nature.” Gerrie Lewis is honored to become a second time recipient of the Mom's Choice Award.
